Little Boots
Saturday continued the onslaught of big name DJs, including Eats Everything at Output, Aeroplane at Cameo, and both Little Boots and Chris Malinchak (of "So Good To Me" fame) at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Brooklyn mainstay label Safer At Night continued their strong presence with a set by Abu Ashley at Glasslands, heavily inspired by the sounds he's discovered after making the move to Berlin this year. Overlapping his set was Machinedrum, and the critically acclaimed samply-heavy drum n' bass producer played to a packed room at Villain. Fans of electronic music didn't have to stop there, as one of the best DJs in the world, Damian Lazarus, played a closing set starting at 3:30 am at Verboten, capping off the festival with some smooth after-hours.
