It was quite the posh picnic scene at The Glass House Summer Party, a beloved annual event that celebrated its 15th anniversary with its 2022 return.

Hosted on the idyllic grounds of the iconic Philip Johnson Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut, the sunny soiree never fails to bring out a crowd of stylish art patrons and society staples. This year was certainly no exception.

Donning their garden party best (and accessorizing with picnic baskets, naturally), guests enjoyed a dreamy day filled with lawn games, tunes by DJ Paul Sevigny, a performance by award-winning tap dancer, Ayodele Casel, a Tata Harper Hydration Station, custom sketches by artist Deanna First, and a photo booth presented by Yieldstreet.

When they weren't rubbing elbows or exploring the fun activations, attendees lounged and dined near the pool and at the Pavilion on the Pond, complete with bites and refreshments by Elm, The Pale, Neat, Voss, Govino, as well as specialty Green & Tonic dragonfruit cocktails.

Since the picturesque party wouldn't be complete without plenty of art, guests were also able to peruse pieces and place their bids with a silent auction presented by Artsy.

As Gregory Sages, Executive Director, told attendees in appreciation, "The Summer Party, the one fundraiser allowed under The Glass House operating permit, contributes more than 25% of our annual operating costs. The results of this event are critical to the health of this iconic site."
