Think (millennial!) pink. On Wednesday, LEAding Events LLC, a creative events company targeted towards millennials, hosted LEAding With Love, bringing together empowering women for an uplifting panel about self love and, of course, plenty of fun.
Founded by entrepreneurial millennial changing the game, Lea Kadish, LEAding Events LLC is a company that believes one should just be as tasteful as their taste and that when life hands you lemons, take them and make (pink) lemonade. Everyone has a story, and at her LEAding into self-love event, Lea brought the many women she's connected with over the years together to share theirs.
The event was held at Le Board, founded by Sofia Karvela, a space for women to shop female-fronted brands and network with fellow female leaders. Attendees were inspired to aim higher, pursue happiness, and most of all, to LEAd with love. The panel was led by Dr. Lauren, a #NotTherapy conversation with guests including yoga instructor Beth Cooke, fashionable female founder and proud single-mother of two adorable boys Sofia Karvela, and sex columnist Jasmine Lobe. Guests chilled on creatively orchestrated pool floaties and shared several laughs about body-image and navigating society with a strong sense of self love.
Guests also enjoyed Franchesca Vuillemin's self-love horoscope readings, Deanna First’s chic fashion illustrations, and Roby Sobieski's modern-day magic. A fun flower wall by Eternal Fleur served as a go-to for 'grams. Hump Day treats by LEAding Events were served at the bar made entirely out of ice and personal chef Madison Papp made vegan and vegetarian sushi using millennial pink-colored rice to go with the company's millennial pink color theme. And best of all, 20% of the shopping proceeds at Le Board were donated towards The National Eating Disorders Association. Having fun, keeping it trendy, staying inclusive, and making an impact? That’s what we call a “Leading Event.”
