On Saturday night in NYC, The Good Human Project (TGHP) partnered with Dinner Lab for Battle of the Chefs. What followed was a successful night of culinary competition and fundraising for TGHP’s animal welfare project, Lily’s Fund. The event was held at Union Square Ballroom with celebrity guest judges Dan Glickberg, Sonia Kapadia, and Pat LaFrieda of Food Network’s Food Fortunes and TGHP's keynote speaker Julie Shin.
Up and coming culinary stars Evelyn Garcia and Jacob Rosette battled it out with three alternative courses, providing guests and judges with an extravagant six-course meal including cocktail pairings. Fleur Seule, an authentic 1940s Jazz and swing band, provided entertainment for the evening.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit TGHP’s Lily’s Fund, a local animal welfare project aiming to raise awareness for Granulomatous Meningoencephalitis (GME), a devastating disease affecting the central nervous system of dogs. The after-party was held at speakeasy Bathtub Gin, where guests sipped bubbly and continued celebrating TGHP’s mission: good things happen when Good Humans come together.
