Tuesday evening, maurices, the best kept billion dollar secret in retail with a portfolio of sister brands including Lane Bryant, dressbarn and by fall 2015, Ann Taylor and LOFT brands, was excited to unveil its NYC Design + Trend Office in Midtown at 432 Park Ave South.
Based in Duluth, MN, many of the company’s exec’s and design team showed up to celebrate alongside fashion editors from Marie Claire, Cosmo, Seventeen, Redbook, and Lucky, and bloggers including Rach Martino and Color Me Courtney.
Guests toasted to a ribbon cutting, nibbled on MN themed apps and NY summer cocktails while the energy was high coming from the DJ booth. Holiday and Fall samples were on display, receiving great feedback and being Instagrammed and Tweeted by guests, with a sneak peek of Spring too. There was also a collaborative art project that all of the guests helped paint – merging MN and NY to create a beautiful canvas that had people getting very creative.
