On Monday night, Guest of a Guest attended the grand opening of BV's Grill, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Setting the new standard for the classic American Grill, BV's Grill hosted an elegant evening for friends and family with an open bar of cocktails, wine, and beer, along with delectable passed dishes like Foie Gras Cones and Roast Beef and Horseradish Sliders. The gorgeous outdoor promenade and spacious dining room were abuzz with old and new friends delighting in the delicious food and drinks, and served as the perfect setting for restauranteur Joseph Smith (of Bobby Van's Steakhouses) to welcome a few hundred local guests to celebrate his new restaurant.
“This place is unlike any in the city,” says Smith. “We created a neighborhood restaurant with a great outdoor dining area for lunch, dinner and cocktails. Customers have my unyielding guarantee to provide patrons with the finest food and service.”
The spacious dining room pays homage to Old New York, with a state-of-the-art glassed-in open kitchen overlooking the space, and large, sultry banquettes throughout. The space also boasts two private dining and meeting rooms, and a sleek, 100-person 360-degree open bar area.
