Last night, the Young Professionals Committee of Susan G. Komen Greater NYC raised breast cancer awareness, funds and the roof during the Paint the Park Pink party hosted at the Bryant Park Grille. The Young Professionals Committee, chaired by John Petzold and founded by Sandra Kozlowski, who is also the Chair of the Komen Greater NYC Board of Directors, threw an the very pink party which included live music by the Oh-La-La's, numerous items of the Bryant Park Grille menu.
The Pink party also featured a silent auction with packages ranging from vacations and one-of-a-kind experiences, to priceless sports memorabilia. A short program featured remarks by Komen Greater NYC CEO Linda Tantawi, Komen Ambassador and founding YPC member Eric Brinker, Petzold and Kozlowski.
Throughout the night, guests celebrated the achievements of the New York YPC while the Oh-La-La's performed live, and guests shared their stories and relations to the Susan G. Komen foundation. All funds raised support national breast cancer research programs to find the cures and local breast health screening, treatment, education and support programs for men, women and families in the greater New York City area.
