Iconic Spanish brand Lladró has been turning porcelain into individual works of art for 70 years. Now, the masterpieces finally have a worthy "gallery" to call home in New York.

This month, Lladró unveiled a stunning new concept store in the Meatpacking District, set to elevate the experience of shopping the beloved pieces to seriously stylish new heights.

Designed by Valencia-based Carmen Baselga Taller de Proyectos in collaboration with the brand’s team of store engineers, the immersive retail space takes visitors on a journey through the world of Lladró. Unique uses of light, digital screens, and 4D sounds capture every sense, while the sleek, modern architecture and displays transport you to a serene oasis beyond the bustle of the city. Kind of like what having a Lladró piece in your own home feels like.

"The launch of this new concept store, which coincides with the brand’s 70th anniversary, responds to our mission to continue revitalizing porcelain, delving into its most innovative creative possibilities, and to making it known through experiential spaces like this one in which emotional connections are generated," says CEO Ana Rodríguez.

To toast the debut of the new destination, Lladró invited a slew of chic creatives and New York notables to a glamorous opening celebration, complete with cocktails and conversation pieces galore.
