A sophisticated affair for a sophisticated collection...
Last Wednesday, designer Marina Moscone hosted an intimate evening in celebration of her new UNIFORM collection.
The fête was held at the stunning private residence of painter Caio Fonseca, with everyone from Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Zazie Beetz to Katerina Tannenbaum, Genevieve Angelson and Jessica Joffe in attendance, modeling Marina's chic, sleek styles.
Earl Rose, the Carlyle Hotel's beloved pianist, proved the perfect soundtrack for cocktail hour as guests chatted their way about the art-filled space, later gathering in Fonseca's paint-splattered studio for dinner.
“When approaching UNIFORM, I asked myself what a woman might need in her wardrobe in order to accomplish everything she wants to and to feel good while doing it, without having to expend excess energy or thought into putting together her wardrobe. The collection articulates a very pragmatic approach to dressing so we sought to redevelop some of our best core pieces, which are designed to be coupled and decoupled, embellished, and stripped away in myriad ways. I have always felt that fashion should serve to de-clutter her life and reduce decision-making, freeing her up to focus on the most important things in her life.”
