Celebrities, chefs, and the Governor of New York all came together on Tuesday, April 21, for the annual Food Bank for New York City Can-Do Awards dinner. Hosted at the glamorous Cipriani Wall Street, the star-studded event was honored Tom Colicchio and Lori Silverbush, Stavros Niarchos Foundation and Sandra Lee - Simply Living Publishing for their contributions and commitment to hunger relief. Everyone from Jon Bon Jovi and 50 Cent to Governor Andrew Cuomo and chef Mario Batali were in attendance, with glamorous guests walking, not the red carpet, but the orange one, as it's the official color of hunger awareness.
For over 30 years, Food Bank For New York City has offered relief to countless New Yorkers across the five boroughs, fighting to end hunger and offer education programs, meal services, and other aid to people in need.
