The First Monday in May has come and gone but the hangovers persist!
There may only be one Met Gala you see, but there are ten after parties...
Celebrities from across the globe descended upon New York for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Benefit, this year honoring the late Karl Lagerfeld - the whole city abuzz, curious to spot all of the fabulous outfits, hijinks, and good old fashioned ragers.
Following the formal fun, Michaela Cole hosted XHOSA at Loosie's in the Moxy Hotel LES, where guests danced into the early hours of the morning to music by Major League DJZ, Uncle Waffles, Skyla Tylaa, and DJ Neptizzle. It was a veritable who's who of New York and International society with guests including Charlotte Casiraghi, Ronny Flynn, Dylan Hales, Naomi Campbell, Edward Enniful, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Scott, Chance the Rapper, Jeremy Pope, Whitney Peak and more.
But of course, Cole's wasn't the only late night shindig in town...
Chanel took over the Mercer Hotel, soft launching their new space Sartiano’s with an A-List soirée. Doja Cat and Diddy invited their fashionable friends to descend upon downtown mainstay The Box (a party that allegedly went on until 6AM!). Cartier kept things uptown, celebrating in sophistication at Bemelmans Bar. Emily Ratajkowski danced with Kendall Jenner and Jared Leto at her own bash, held in the Financial District's WSA building. Stella McCartney and Baz Luhrmann got glitzy, hosting a disco at Zero Bond. Dua Lipa went subterranean for the evening, packing people into Virgo’s basement club and popping Dom Pérignon. And of course - ever the iconic post-Met scene - there was the Boom Boom Room, where Billie Eilish, Florence Pugh, Trevor Noah and more sipped in the views.
