Last night, Northside Center for Child Development hosted a jazz night at the Red Rooster in Harlem. Proceeds from the night went to The Jane Allen Emil Children’s Library, which aims to provide educational resources to children with support programs such as Book Fairs and Reading Laboratories.
Barbara King and the Spirit of Jazz played for most of the evening while guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Guests included Marcus Samuelsson, Thelma Dye, Jennie Emil, Marie-Louise Stegall, Michael Goldstein, Dana Goldstein, Susan Patricof, Alan Patricof, Rosanna Scotto, Elvis Duran, Joan Jakobson, John Jakobson, Michelle Paige Paterson, and Lisa Yom.
