Guests were treated with swing dance lessons from You Should Be Dancing... A perfect treat for swinging into spring! The Coalition was honoring humanitarians Gary A. Davis, Christine Quinn, and Melissa Russo. Each have made amazing contributions to end hunger.

NBC's Gabe Pressman hosted the event, and in attendance was Senator George McGovern.

The New York City Coalition Against Hunger helps 1.4 million low-income New Yorkers, who can't afford enough food. The organization provides immediate food needs, and develops solutions for how to move "beyond the soup kitchen" to self-sufficiency.
