On Wednesday night, Saturdays NYC hosted the opening night of Puerto Rico, an exhibition featuring photographs shot with a broken pentax camera and expired film. Unlike the socialite magnet that was the Ferragamo party, the Puerto Rico party at Saturday NYC had much more of a relaxed, LES vibe (aka no Ferragamo, or anything like it, in sight.)-
The event, which featured several large color prints and matching totes, kicked off Emmett Shine and Vanessa Packer's two month solo exhibit in a NY Public space. The relaxed atmosphere of the party was so appealing, though, that people seemed to stick around for drinks in the garden long after they'd perused the photographs.
