What has now become our favorite NYFW tradition, Saks once again hosted its glamorous Fashion Week kickoff bash on Thursday, bringing out just about everyone who's anyone on the style and social scene.
Greeted, as always, by a sparkling champagne tower (refreshed with bubbly pours for Instagram moments throughout the evening), guests packed into L'Avenue at Saks for the memorable evening filled with chic and playful surprises. You know, like an ice sculpture martini luge, roaming bumps of caviar, and a tattoo station courtesy of JonBoy. Casual.
The buzzing crowd, a decidedly fun mix of uptown socialites and downtown scenesters from the fashion world, mixed, mingled, and toasted over two floors, even spilling out onto the dreamy floral-covered terrace overlooking Fifth Avenue.
Between cocktail sips and catch-ups, the stylish attendees refueled with Saks-branded burgers and fries, tuna tartare, and chicken spring rolls straight off the L'Avenue menu.
We spotted everyone from Nicky Hilton Rothschild and Ivy Getty, to designers LaQuan Smith and Christian Cowan, to dapper NBA star James Harden and the Vice President's niece Meena Harris rubbing elbows, as well as plenty of the Instagram It Girls, including Tinx, Leonie Hanne, and Delilah Belle Hamlin.
Joining Saks CEO Marc Metrick in official hosting duties was none other than actress, singer, and songwriter Chlöe Bailey, who managed to hype up the crowd even further with a crooning live performance.
