Everyone loves an excuse to party for a good cause, and on May 30th, well-heeled supporters came out to toast PROJECT LION, a new initiative by UNICEF USA which aims to protect the human rights of hundreds of thousands of India’s children living in residential care.
Held at the chic High Line Hotel, the evening's festivities were hosted by Sienna Miller and Jenna Bush Hager, on behalf of UNICEF, and by the seed co-founders of Project Lion, Purvi and Harsh Padia. The full host committee for PROJECT Lion also included Emily Stackman, Sonia Kapadia and Samir Patel.
The event included a traditional Indian dance performance, an auction run by Manish Vora, the co-founder of the Museum of Ice Cream and speeches from Sienna Miller, Jenna Bush Hager, and seed founders Purvi and Harsh Padia. In total, the exceptional soiree raised $850,000 for PROJECT LION. Click through for an inside look!
