On Tuesday night, The Plaza went full-on Phantom of the Disco in honor of the Boys' Club of New York's 70th Annual Fall Dance. Hosted by Dolce & Gabbana, the glamorous evening for a good cause saw an A-list turnout of society darlings, all too happy to embrace the night's "Diamonds Are Forever" theme, inspired by the fashion house's Secrets & Diamonds show held earlier this year.
Co-chairs Coco Brandolini D’Adda, Kathryn Miller, Tabitha Simmons Mortimer, Mary Kathryn Navab, Tatiana Perkin, Betsy Pitts, and Lauren Santo Domingo were joined by guests including Tory Burch, Claiborne Swanson Frank, and Dylan Sprouse for a night of dining, dancing, and particularly fabulous philanthropy inside the hotel's Grand Ballroom, where the baroque opulence was only amplified by the addition of a giant spinning disco ball.
After the glittering dinner, things really turned up when 250 young professionals from the Boys' Club's first-ever Junior Party joined attendees of the main event on the dance floor for some grooves to the tunes of DJ Sam French.
In the end, the night raised over $1.2 million for the BCNY, which, for just $5 a year, provides academic support, mental health services, music and arts programs, and college and career readiness to male youth across the city, regardless of income, immigration status, school, or zip code. A sparkling success, we'd say.
