There's something about New Yorkers and their dogs that can't be explained to anyone in the rest of the country. Case in point: Spot, the new upscale destination for New York’s top dogs that includes expert training, grooming, daycare, cage-free overnights and concierge services. Check out the opening party (yes dogs deserve a party too)! Stanley's sad he couldn't make it...

Opened yesterday at 72nd Street & Columbus Avenue, it has a 5,000-square-foot interior as well as a split-level, 5,000-square-foot private dog park—the first of its kind in Manhattan. Founder Mitch Marrow, an ex-NFL player, states that the real selling point of Spot is not the top-of-the-line physical space, but is his highly-trained team of dog care professionals.
