Stetson and JJ Hat Center Celebrate Old New York with Just Another, One Dapper Street, and The Metro Man

Last night two New York icons came together to celebrate their shared history in the city they love. Stetson and the New York hat shop, JJ Hat Center, held a 20’s-themed party at the Fifth Avenue store. Special guest hosts included bloggers Lisa Dengler (Just Another), Marcel Floruss (One Dapper Street) and Moti Ankari (The Metro Man). Guests sipped cocktails created by Raines Law Room, including a seasonal apple cider punch and a build-your-own Old Fashioned bar, using Stetson’s own Kentucky Bourbon. Dengler, Floruss, and Ankari were sporting their Stetson hats as they greeted friends and snapped pictures.

Stetson has been making American-made hats, boots, clothing, and accessories for over 150 years. Styles have been worn by political legends and Hollywood stars from Frank Sinatra to Calvin Coolidge, Barack Obama, Theodore Roosevelt, Charlie Chaplin, Elvis Pressley, James Dean, and countless more. JJ Hat Center opened its doors in 1911 and has since become the go-to shop for men’s millinery in New York City. The store recently unveiled the new Stetson neon sign, which will hang dramatically outside their midtown shop. In 2014 JJ Hat Center opened The Workshop, which produces custom creations by acclaimed milliner, Ryan Wilde.
