On June 20th, business owners, executives, and esteemed members of the community gathered at Cipriani Wall Street for the 16th Annual Outstanding 50 Asian Americans In Business Awards Gala. Honoring professionals representing a wide array of Asian ethnicities, the annual dinner has cumulatively recognized over 700 Asian Americans excelling in their fields. This year, John Wang, president of AABDC also highlighted the emergence of the New Majority as America’s ethnic minorities are poised to become the biggest combined demographic bloc in coming years. “We’re proud to honor high-achieving Asian Americans in business, and excited to join with Latino, African American to form the new Mainstream Economy.” The 2017 keynote speaker was JuE Wong, former President of Elizabeth Arden, and accomplished global corporate executive and board member.
