On Thursday, November 8th, hundreds of young art enthusiasts glittered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 2018 Apollo Circle Benefit. The theme of the night was "The Body Transformed," inspired by the museum's new exhibit, Jewelry: The Body Adorned, which will be on view through February 24, 2019.
The glamorous evening saw a seductive performance by drag superstar Violet Chachki, while A-list DJ Vashtie Kola kept the classy crowd jumping. Guests sipped the night's specialty cocktail, Liquid Diamonds (made from Prosecco, gin, lemon, lavender) in the Great Hall, and yes, the drinks actually sparkled. Proceeds from the night went towards art conservation and research at The Met.
