Guggenheim International Gala Pre-Party
Ahead of the slightly more buttoned-up Guggenheim International Gala dinner, the museum hosts an annual pre-party that, despite being on the Upper East Side, feels decidedly like a downtown rager. In November, the iconic rotunda became a bustling party scene, made possible by Dior.

Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri joined a bevy of stylish guests, many wearing Dior, for a lively evening which featured an interactive photo booth, plenty of champagne, and dance-worthy tunes by cool girl DJ, Amrit. The event culminated in a gorgeous performance by soulful singer-on-the-rise Jorja Smith, who shared her own songs and, much to the crowd's delight, sang a raspy cover of TLC's "No Scrubs." Needless to say, just about everyone had their iPhones out.

Between turns on the dance floor, attendees were able to explore the winding spiral ramp currently dotted with bold artwork by Hilma af Klint, and, of course, take plenty of photos along the railings.
