Fashion, fries, and... a tequila fountain?!
Lets just say the ladies behind It Girl label MONTSERRAT New York seriously know how to throw a party.
To celebrate the brand's Spring/Summer 2022 collection, founders Carolina Cordon-Bouzan and Gayle Yelon hosted a night of dinner and dancing at Soho hot spot Little Ways. The evening kicked off with cocktails and an intimate meal among editors and fashionistas, who indulged in family-style plates of chicken schnitzel, mini cheese burgers, maitake mushroom rigatoni, and steak frites (heavy on the frites).
As the night went on - and as the tequila started, quite literally, to flow - guests dressed in their vibrant jewel tone best and jewelry from the summer-ready new collection hit the tequila fountain for shots before heading upstairs to keep the party going. The floodgates opened just in time for the after-bash, with waves of downtown cool kids and friends of the brand arriving to rub elbows and dance away beneath the disco ball.
Our favorite DJ-about-town Mei Kwok was on hand to supply the tunes while Little Ways supplied margs, martinis, and late-night bites in the form of MONTSERRAT-branded fries. And while the scene was certainly Insta-worthy, disposable cameras seemed to be guests' go-to mode of documentation for the event. Throwback chic.
