The Manhattan Young Democrats celebrated their Seventh Annual Young Gets It Done awards at Up & Down. The awards honor the Young Democrats' 5 Leaders Under 35. This years honorees were Ken Biberaj, Alex Gleason, Andrew Gounardes, Kat Kane and Eunic Ortiz.
The annual event is the largest Young Democrats event in the country with over 700 people attending and dozens of politicians from across the city and state.
Special Guests included Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, Public Advocate Tish James, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, County Leader Keith Wright, Assemblywoman Deborah Glick, Assemblyman Dick Gottfried, Councilwoman Helen Rosenthal, Councilman Corey Johnson, Councilman Costa Constantinides, Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, Councilman Mark Levine.
