If anyone knows how to make an eatery go viral, it's by CHLOE. co-founder Samantha Wasser. The chic and well-connected creative director of ESquared Hospitality had a hit with the vegan chain, and is likely about to see the same success with The Sosta, a fast-casual Italian joint in Nolita. Last night, the restaurant saw its much-anticipated opening, and let's just say it was the place to be. Joined by It Girl Olivia Perez, Samantha and Chef Ali LaRaia hosted the food-filled bash with the Wine n Dine app, giving guests an exclusive preview of the space and its delicious offerings.
Designer Maxwell Osborne and model Brooks Nader were among the fashionable, foodie crowd, sampling bites of pasta and creamy gelato. Like all good go-tos, there's even a 'grammable neon sign that attendees had no trouble whipping out their phones for between bites. As they say in Italy, "Mangiamo, baby!"
