[All photos by Neil Rasmus for PMc] Akris' Albert Kriemler happily posed for pictures with Daphne Guinness last night at Bergdorf Goodman. His fete celebrated fifteen years of collaborating with Steven Klein, but he might have been out of his comfort zone... You see, Albert Kriemler is not a typical man about town. He spends most of his time tucked away in a chalet in Switzerland, living a quiet life and working on his line. So perhaps he was having a culture shock last night when he was posing for pictures with one of the most photographed women in Manhattan?!
Along with Daphne, some of the biggest names in the industry, like Stefano Tonchi and Bergdorf's CEO Jim Gold, joined Kriemler.
The evening was spent toasting the opening of an exhibition which will feature works from the fifteen year collaboration between the legendary Steven Klein and the brand.
As The Misshapes spun tracks, guests checked out Klein-shot photographs lining the walls and mannequins wearing the designer's pieces that were placed throughout Akris' section in the department store.
