Music popping, party jumping, and most important of all, young guests making a difference in the world! This past Thursday evening, young philanthropists from all over the United States came together in New York City to support and celebrate a magnificent cause for its 100th Birthday! The Yellowstone National Park celebrated its centennial birthday with an incredible and supportive evening hosted by the Yellowstone Park Foundation and Young Patrons program, holding not one but two fabulous parties, as well as an exciting silent auction.
The Young Patrons gala engaged millennials to participate and fund conservation efforts, benefiting the first US national park in history. Hosted by new board members Arielle Patrick, a Group Manager at Weber Shandwick, Alice Ryan, a Director at KBS (kirshenbaum bond senecal + partners), and Jacqueline Rooney, a corporate communications manager at Facebook, the night kicked off at the legendary Avenue nightclub in New York City, with DJ Lenny Emery on the mix. They kept the party and support continuing at the after-party at Happy Ending NYC.
Through the years, the foundation has driven remarkable conservation efforts, having raised more than $100 million for the Yellowstone National Park, and successfully funding more than 325 Park projects. Who says young people aren't making a difference?
Guests were of course dressed to the nines, considering gala-girl-favorite, Armarium, offered to donate 10% of styling purchases to the cause when shoppers used the code YSTONE10 (psst, it expires in January if you'd still like to donate!).
The evening was underwritten by sponsors: TAO Group, DJ Theory, Stella Artois, Punzoné Organic Vodka, Archer Roose, Whispering Angel, Wyoming Whiskey, and Dorrian’s.
