Tonight, The People’s Improv Theater is putting the comedy back in comic books, as the famous X-Men writer Chris Clarement joins forces with New York comedians to discuss the comic book business. Unfortunately, I am under the age of 102 and alas missed out on comics like Hairbreadth Harry (1906) and later, the Famous Funnies. But we have contemporary comic interpretations of comics, such as the legendary Juggernaut skit, to tell us how the old school comic strips must have been. Anyway, Chris Claremont tonight at 8 pm, $5 at the door.
