A Brawl At Bergdorf's! Indya Moore Loses Her Cool At Pat McGrath's Bash

by guestofaguest · February 8, 2019

Thursday night's highly anticipated Pat McGrath Labs launch at Bergdorf Goodman was as dramatic as a Fashion Week bash could get: pumping tunes, flashing lights, drag superstars dressed to the nines, and a fully packed house. Which explains why we were waiting outside to catch all the real drama when it went down.

At around 10:20 pm, after a massive line of late-comers formed outside the side entrance of the upscale department store, red carpet darling and actress-on-the-rise Indya Moore came out to confront a security guard who had supposedly done her wrong.

While the poor PR team could really only watch helplessly, Moore firmly stepped up to the guard who had previously been inside, accusing him of physically pushing her, and claiming he was "self-righteous" and "disrespectful."

The starlet, famous for her role in the FX television series Pose, would not back down. When he said he would call the police, she encouraged him to (however, no authorities ever arrived). When he finally walked away from Moore, and the crowd surrounding the entrance, she called after him, saying she would tell Pat about this and that she guaranteed he would lose his job by the end of the night.

Though it's not clear what exactly happened inside the party, Moore (who recently landed one of Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood covers) was clearly upset by the incident with the guard, who is apparently an employee of the store's.

To make matters worse (for the people working the event, at least), the commotion led to a group of guests bum-rushing their way into the revolving door, despite multiple warnings that the party was overcapacity.

At this point, after waiting almost an hour at the velvet rope, we figured we wouldn't be getting in. At least we were kept entertained.
