Fashion Week Continues With Nine West Blogger Breakfast, I-Ella Launch, Nordic Dinner

We can't stress it enough, Fashion Week is jam-packed with events that go far beyond runway shoes and after parties. Here's a sampling of some of the other fashion-related events that have been keeping industry insiders busy over the past few days, from new websites to new collections.-

I-Ella is a new website which lets you buy, borrow, swap sell or lend clothing, which is cool enough on its own, but what really makes this site unique is that each month it joins up with three charities and donates a portion of proceeds to various worthy causes. Veronica Webb (looking gorgeous) made a few remarks at the reception; she's training for her third New York marathon for charity, and thrilled about teaming up with I-Ella to raise money.

Founder Ella Gorgla (She-Ella?) was beaming with excitement over the launch of the new site, as were Stephanie Winston Wolkoff and FEED's Ellen Gustafson.

Overall, the Champagne and Smores reception, held in the InStyle Lounge at Lincoln Center, was the perfect evening break from the tents.

The Nordic: NY Dinner

The King Collective hosted a dinner at Telepan last night to celebrate the Spring/Summer 2011 Nordic: New York Collections. Richie Rich and Zelda Kaplan were among the personalities who attended the seated dinner, during which the designers showed off some of the clothes from the collection. Guests seemed to be having a lot of fun at the dinner, finding all sorts of interesting items under their flatware....

On Friday morning, Nine West held a Blogger Breakfast at their Fifth Avenue store. What's the most surefire way to get fashion bloggers to wake up early in the morning after a night of partying? Give them SHOES to try on! Bloggers posed for pictures and scarfed down mini-muffins before attacking the shoe rack, trying on some of Nine West's fall boot collection. (And, to the girl trying on the grey knee-highs? We hope you walked home with those, they look amazing.)
