If there's one thing we have come to expect from the Kate Spade brand, it's fun. Kate Spade presentations offer a refreshing break from the stark, white runway by welcoming show-goers into a space that feels more like a party than a show. This season, that party was a garden party - complete with live grass and plenty of floral prints. Cheeky handbags in the shape of watering cans, flower pots, and crabs stole the show, but the street style in the room was just as charming. Voluminous skirts and bright colors were as prevalent on attendees as they were on the models themselves, and the occasional dapper gent broke up the mostly female presence. Afterward, the feminine style continued at the Gramercy Park Terrace, where Marchesa and ShopStyle presented their latest collaborative collection.
