DVF Spring 2013 Private Dinner

Details: Harley Viera Newton spun at the private event, and DVF even put on some headphones and joined the DJ for a few songs. Carine Roitfeld made an appearance at the party, perhaps knowing that very few of her Vogue fremenies would be there. It was a family affair for Roitfeld, who's son's girlfriend, Giovanna Battaglia, also showed up to support DVF. DVF's show made headlines this year not only for her designs, but for an accessory never before shown on the runway: Google glasses. The designer, along with Google cofounder Sergey Brin, donned the eyewear at her show earlier in the day and throughout the evening the crowd was still buzzing about the smart-glasses. DVF traditionally steers away from wild after parties, always preferring to keep it classy with an intimate dinner, but Indochine was packed to the brim on Saturday night as guests snacked on crab cakes, spring rolls, and other specialities from the popular downtown restaurant. Calvin Klein Dinner at Beatrice Inn

When: Thursday, September 13 Where: The Beatrice Inn Who was there: Diane Kruger, Bianca Jagger, Amar'e Stoudemire, Alexis Welch, Emma Stone, Bryan Boy, Rachel Zoe, Franscisco Costa, Andre Saraiva, Waris Ahluwalia, Olivier Zahm, Dree Hemingway, Chloe Malle, Derek Blasberg, and Stefano Tonchi Details: Though Beatrice Inn won't officially open until tomorrow night (9/15), Francisco Costa, Calvin Klein's women's creative director, threw a star-studded party there last night to celebrate the brand's 2013 runway show. Guests got a preview of the soon-to-open restaurant, which promises to be a neighborhood-friendly steakhouse. Providing a much welcome break from the craziness of Fashion Week, guests were able to relax on the newly open and much-buzzed about rooftop of NYC's NoMad Hotel. Model Linda Evangelista wore the new bag throughout the evening, and guests, who sipped on Pimm's Cups and snacked on h'ours d'oeuvres, admired Rag & Bone's first foray into the handbag market.
