Pier59Are you sad to see NYFW leave Lincoln Center? I'm sad to see NYFW leave Lincoln Center only sentimentally - this is where I first started going to shows! But honestly, the location isn't the best as so many shows have ventured downtown. It felt inconvenient to get there. Also, it seemed like the shows there were getting stale with the same few stages and arrangements. The designers didn't seem excited about the space. I'm excited to see the show setups get a makeover! It'll be fun to see SS2015's collections in a fresh space. What will you miss about LC? I'll miss seeing bloggers strutting around the gorgeous fountain and marble walkways! I really won't miss too much though...I had some awesome memories there, met some fantastic people, but it's time for a change. Where would you like it to be next season? and/or Where do you think it will be next season? I would definitely love if it were somewhere downtown! I've heard rumors it will be in Brooklyn but I really think those are just rumors. I don't think the core of FW is ready for a move to Brooklyn. I've also heard it might be on the west side, near Chelsea Piers or the Javits, which makes sense because of the big spaces available there. Honestly, all the offsite shows are the most fun to me. The designers use the venues in much more creative ways, so they really fit with the unique visions that go behind the clothes. [Photo via @fashionistagal_1]
