All Hail The LBD! Style.com Editor Laird Borrelli-Persson Hosts Launch Party For "The Cocktail Dress"

After penning and contributing to over half a dozen books, Style.com editor Laird Borrelli-Persson had much to smile about at last night’s book launch party in her honor.  Party guests included numerous Garment District designers, many of whom had mentions in the book. The book, "The Cocktail Dress", is a tribute to the history and evolution of fashion's most classic dress since the Roaring Twenties. Laird Borrelli-Persson is the senior features editor at Style.com. She studied at Boston College and Oxford University before getting her masters at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her body of work include the books Fashion Illustration by Fashion Designers, Fashion Illustration Now, Net Mode: Web Fashion Now, and Bags: A Lexicon of Style which she coauthored with Valerie Steele.
