[Consuelo Vanderbilt Constin, Kick Kennedy, Sara Delano Roosevelt]
What do you get when three of the oldest names in American history pair up together to make a charitable difference? The Legacy Group LLC, casually referred to as only "Legacy", held it's introduction press conference today on the UES at 63rd and Park with the help of Rubenstein Public Relations. Press, family and friends came together to hear about what founder Ralph Destino Jr., marketing and sales veteran, hopes will be a revolutionary form of philanthropy with the help of Consuelo Vanderbilt Constin, Sara Delano Roosevelt, and Kick Kennedy. Each woman represents a different age bracket and a different charitable endeavor. Kick, 21, supports the Waterkeeper Alliance, where her father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a chairman. Consuelo Vanderbilt Constin, in her 30s, will be championing the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Sara Delano Roosevelt, in her 40s, choose the Boys and Girls Club. Legacy philanthropists and companies donate all proceeds from products and deals to the charities, and the women will help design some of the products as well. On top of this, Patrick Demarchelier has donated his services for all photography and Lauren Santo Domingo has signed on as Creative Director free of charge to add some extra New York glamour.
