Last night, my favorite go-to West Village restaurant, Bobo, (owned by Carlos Suarez), was the setting of a dinner for some of the more fashion-forward New Yorkers in the city. It was for Elise Overland and the threeASFOUR fashion company and was hosted by the Villency Emerging Fashion Program, which was founded by Eric Villency and Sabine Heller in 2007 to encourage and support up and coming talent which has included: Proenza Schouler, Derek Lam, Imitation of Christ, Ruffian, Sari Gueron and Katy Rodriguez.

Cocktails started at 7:30pm when Voguettes Meredith Melling Burke and Stephanie LaCava dropped in to congratulate the designers being celebrated on the second floor of the downtown hotspot. Fashion 'It'girls Maggie Betts and Jessica Joffe (in a darling pink multi- tiered mini skirt by her designer gal-pal Katy Rodriguez) chatted baby names with Ferebee Bishop Taube who is expecting twin boys this Spring. At the same dinner table, Zani Gugelman and Byrdie Bell shared ahi tuna and chocolate toffee cake under the tented roof strung with stuffed birds and exotic animals. In the main candlelit dining room, host Eric Villency held court at a long table filled with media heavyweights including ABC's Gigi Stone, FOX News' Kimberly Guilefoyle Villency, Page Six's Richard Johnson and Brant Publications Editorial Director Glenn O'Brien. The threeASFOUR gang, Adi, Ange and Gabi, entertained wild child guests Arden Wohl and Melissa Bent while Poppy deVillenueve congratulated fellow filmmaker Chiara Clemente on her documentary 'Our City Dreams' upcoming debut at Film Forum cinema.
Artist Tom Sachs chatted up everyone's favorite rock-star mum Ann Dexter-Jones (mother of Mark, Charlotte and Sam Ronson) in the tented terrace room while next door, sculptor Hope Atherton showed off her black stingray Cecelia clutch to branding babe Kate Schelter, who showed off her favorite accessories - her oversized House of Lavande earrings.
Handbag and shoe designer Lily Raffi broke her recent good news to stylist friends Frances Tulk-Hart and Natasha Royt that her label Felix Rey will launch a highly coveted diffusion line at Target in April. PR powerhouse Serena Merriman and Domino's fashion director (and stylist) Lauren Goodman chatted about their client John Patrick Organic, the CFDA-nominated label whose New York Fashion Week presentation they sexing up. Sabine Heller was overheard telling Serena that she is considering JohnPatrickOrganic as a candidate for next season's Villency Emerging Fashion Program.
