The annual Chinese New Year parade was held Sunday, January 26th in Chinatown. Many spectators were on hand to view the brightly colored floats and to celebrate the beginning of the year of the Ox (and NYMag's Jesse Oxfeld is not it's namesake), which according to the Chinese Zodiac, brings about prosperity through fortitude and hard work. Austin Scarlett of Project Runway fame was among the many onlookers.
