New York based fashion house Costello Tagliapietra strayed from their usual custom-order collection when they launched their new diffusion line at Barneys earlier this week.
The line, called C&T, will only be sold at Barneys, and is a departure from the brand's typical clothing, yet founders Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra embraced the challenge of creating a collection for Barneys.
Of designing the collection Tagliapietra said,
“This forces you to think in a way that’s more accessible, it makes you find a way to reach a broader audience, but our essence is still at the core of it.”

Model Anne Vyalitsyna hosted the launch event, and she noted the similarities between Costello Tagliapietra and C&T:
“From what I’ve seen, it’s really not that different, but that’s why I think it’s so amazing. People who weren’t able to afford their collection are now able to buy this,” she explained, “I saw them put their heart and soul into the whole thing, so you are getting the best of the best at a lower price.”
The line is available at Barneys -- on the store's newly renovated 8th floor -- today!
