When dressing for the job that you want, always present yourself cleanly and neatly. Pay attention to details such as your nails. Since your appearance represents your attitude, you do not want a sloppy image to reflect on you. If the person you are interviewing with sees insufficient grooming at first sight, it might be difficult to recoup from that first impression, despite how great your responses to his or her questions may be. Poor grooming is distracting.
