Thursday night Pratt Institute held its annual Legends 2008 benefit at the Chelsea located Pier 61. Charlie Rose was the presenter as guests honored Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, Takashi Murakami and Julian Schnabel. There was a full dinner, of course, and cocktails. Fashion was ever present in the event from Murakami"s signature style, to a hot pink dress on Allison Pottasch (perhaps a tribute to Schnabel"s pink palace?) to Barbaralee"s blue tinted glasses. This inspiring event helps young fashion talent that may otherwise not be able to afford a degree-level education.
