It's almost graduation time for the senior class of FIT design students, and this means the college's annual end-of-year runway show, FIT on the Catwalk. Select students' creations appeared on the runway yesterday in front of some famous important names in the fashion industry: Kate Betts, Patricia Field, Lisa Smilor, Erica Sonner, Zang Toi, and Robert Verdi. This group served as the judging panel for the runway show for a variety of awards. Also, one student in each of five categories received $1,000 for the best use of cotton in a garment from Cotton Incorporated. Congrats to all the winners - and we hope to see some of your clothes on the racks of Barney's soon!
