The once glittering guest list, full of larger-than-life stars and fashion icons, has seemingly been reduced to an extension of your TikTok For You Page. According to reports, invites for this year's event have gone out to the likes of Addison Rae and Emma Chamberlain, both 20-year-old social media stars. As one A-list publicist told Page Six, "Personally, I don’t think the Met is cool anymore … It’s gone from super prestigious to [being] full of influencers."
