Tikva's Sixth Annual Drive for Life

Be There or Be Square: Chelsea Piers, Pier 59 from 6:30pm-10:30pm.

Event Description: Hosts and Honorees Marc Ecko, Jeff Cohen of Kenneth Cole, Adam Pfeffer and Oren Sendowski present Tikva’s Drive for Life. Proceeds from each couple’s ticket sales will feed 2 children for an entire year and help aid Tikva in their mission to care for the homeless and abused Jewish children of the Odessa region of Ukraine. Tikva helps these children by providing loving homes, social services, education and an opportunity for a brighter future through immigration to Israel. There will be games like hoop-shooting, boxing, Dance Dance Revolution, raffles and other opportunities to win cool prizes, as well as a performance by the NJ Nets Dancers, celebrity appearances, food stations from Dougies BBQ, Burgers Bar, Talia's Steakhouse, Noah's Ark, Eden Wok, Tea for Two, The Pasta Factory, Kosher Wine Society, Chantilly and more, and each couple will get a basket of 60 personalized golf balls.

13th Annual Newport Flower Show

Be There or Be Square: The Newport Flower Show will be held from June 27 until June 29th from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm, June 28 & 29, 9 am to 5 pm at the Rosecliff, 548 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, Rhode Island.

Event Description: Because you were going to get a hobby "Explore! Botanical Passions" presented by thePreservation Society of Newport County, there will be free lectures and demonstrations featuring garden experts, like Kathy Rainer and Tricky Wolfes of Parties to Die For, a Gardeners' Marketplace, with rare specialty plants, flower stalls and essential garden accessories and an opening night cocktail party feauring live entertainment.
