For those who have never been to the Manhattan Vintage Show and Sale, I highly suggest coughing up the 20 bucks and stepping foot inside the potentially hellish Metropolitan Pavilion to check it out. Think booth upon booth of decadent vintage furs, intricate jewelry, and rows of dresses from all decades--full ones, frumpy ones, sleek ones, printed ones--and loads of stuff for the guys too. Exhibitors include wacky unknowns as well as favorites like What Comes Around Goes Around and No. 6. Store. We can all use a bargain, and seriously, what better things do you have to do this weekend?
The Manhattan Vintage Show: Friday, February 6th, 1:00pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, February 7th, 11:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street. Admission $20.00.
