Before we send you off into the first weekend of true spring weather, we thought there's no better way to celebrate than by jumping ahead to the hot, sticky summer that awaits us! Behold, the new McCarren Park Pool concert series line up. We'll of course be there (as well as anywhere else there's tank tops and flip flops) to cover the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, M.I.A., Ween, and Wilco to name a few. Unfortunately, it will be a bittersweet concert series as this will be the final year McCarren will be overrun with hipsters and old Polish men. Upside: a huge, new [working] pool and an ice rink for the Kristi Yamaguchi in you.
