On Tuesday night, My'It'Things hosted the fashion blogosphere elite for an intimate event celebrating the winner of the "It" Holiday Dress Contest.  Partnering with Linda Pratka of Ilus, the exclusive dress boutique, the evening offered the unique opportunity for young designers to have their work carried next to today's biggest designer labels. Designers were invited to upload their sketches onto MyItThings.com and site users selected the top twenty-five designs through popular vote. Then, the three finalists were awarded $300 to create their garment, where the winner's design was unveiled and will now be available at Ilus.

    More story and photos below:

My'It'Things Co-Founder & President Yuli Ziv and Lifestyle Editor Adrien Field welcomed recording artist Alexandra Alexis, BagTrends.com founder Pamela Pekerman, Anne Fritz of The Jet Set Girls, Julia Dinardo of Fashion Pulse Daily and Michael J. Pratt of GiftGirl.com among others. Nuvo provided the night's cocktails.

The winning design was submitted by Dayna Holli and was conceptualized after she had the experience of painting with elephants during a June trip to Ayutthaya, Thailand. A similar design was created for THE TRUNK SHOW, an eco-friendly fashion show that was held in October to raise money for the Asian Elephant Art and Conservation Project. The ILUS dress is made of Thai silk from Ayutthaya, organic cotton and vintage beads. Nappokao is the elephant artist.
