Hedi Slimane
Unsurprisingly, French fashionisto Hedi Slimane is a man who wears many (probably black) hats. The creative director of Saint Laurent Paris as of 2012 also forays into photography, art, and is closely related to the rock and roll world. Before replacing Stefano Pilati at YSL—and infamously cutting out the "Y"—Slimane completely changed the menswear aesthetic as the head of Dior Homme, trading muscles for musicians with waif-like features.
After working with the likes of Mick Jagger, David Bowie, and Jack White, the Slimane of all trades has brought his distinctly dark, rockstar vibe to the luxury label, creating a fair share of controversy in his wake. Then again, he might be rightfully taking back the reins, seeing as he was actually the creative director of YSL's men's line from 1996 to 2000.
