The first Monday in May certainly seems far off, but Anna Wintour and the Metropolitan Museum of Art are already planning their next big exhibit.
Vogue announced today that fashion insiders will be finding their religion at the 2018 Met Gala, as the theme will be "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination." From papal wear on loan from the Vatican, to pieces by Donatella Versace (who's a sponsor), Coco Chanel, and John Galliano, the exhibition hopes to explore the dialogue between faith and fashion.
Even more exciting? The show will be spread across three locations, including the Met's medieval galleries and its uptown outpost, The Cloisters. We suppose you'd better say your prayers if you don't wear comfy shoes to see this one.
