The Bowery was buzzing Wednesday night as guests arrived at Capitale for The Kitchen's Spring Gala Benefit honoring Tony Oursler and Willard B. Taylor. The Kitchen, New York City’s oldest nonprofit performance and exhibition spaces for emerging and established artists, kicked off their season with a cocktail party, dinner and after-party attended by a mix of celebrities and VIP's.

Even though it finally felt like summer was in the air, the guests inside in attendance were: Shalom Harlow, Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Ronson, Steven Kolb (of CFDA), Philip Lim, Thurston Moore, Kim Gordon, Richard Chai, David Byrne and our fellow bloggers Micah Jesse and Tia Walker. The mix of people was great and all seemed to be enjoying cocktails in the beautiful entrance hall. During the dinner, all were treated to a performance by Laurie Anderson and a jam-session by Sonic Youth.
