The Resistance Revival Chorus Helps Launch A New Collection Of Feminist AF Sweaters

by Stephanie Maida · March 8, 2018

New York-based cashmere sweater company Lingua Franca is already famous (or infamous) for its hand-embroidered, politically charged slogans. Remember when Connie Britton wore one to shake up the Golden Globes red carpet?

But this week they've launched their most powerful collection yet, just in time to celebrate International Women's Day.

Teaming up with the Resistance Revival Chorus, a group of more than 60 women who come together to sing protest songs and drive change, Lingua Franca has created pieces inspired by their message - quite literally, as the sweaters boast some of the chorus's most moving lyrics.

Of course, who better to model the new line than the members of the chorus themselves? Shot by Pamela Hanson, the campaign spotlights every unique woman involved in the project, so before you shop, take a minute to learn their names, their stories, and their aspirations.

Each purchase of the LF x RRC collection will see $100 go to support the chorus as well as the Alliance for Quality Education.
